Premier Development has an exciting opportunity for a full time Leasing Agent available at a brand new Luxury Apartment Complex, located in desirable Westfield, NJ. The Leasing staff is responsible for leasing apartments, serves as an initial contact between the public and the company, and strives to project and demonstrate the value and quality of our product and service.

**This is a full time position working 5 days per week in the office. Saturday and Sunday hours are required from 10am – 5pm for this position, plus 3 additional days per week.

**No license or prior leasing experience required – willing to train!

Responsibilities and Duties

· Greets prospective residents and presents property through personal tours. Gathers information regarding prospective resident’s needs and details on a guest card; qualifies the prospective resident through conversation to ensure that standard criteria are met and we are finding the perfect home for our customers; conducts follow-up daily.

· Delivers superior customer service, delivers custom presentations on leasing calls, and assists current residents with service requests.

· Completes all leasing paperwork associated with leasing activity, including rental applications, rental and employment verification. Processes all rental paperwork in accordance with Fair Housing Guidelines.

· Responsible for handling resident’s issues, needs and complaints in a professional, fair and consistent manner. Displays diplomacy during all interactions.

· Gathers market information weekly and prepares reports identifying competitor’s rentals rates, concessions, promotions and property features.

· Pushes value of product and service. Maintains consistent awareness of sub-market to drive income growth

· Other duties as assigned

Skills & Requirements:

**Must be available to work Weekends 10am – 5pm

Prior sales experience (required)

Previous Leasing experience, a plus

Professional demeanor with exemplary customer service skills

Excellent oral and written communication, presentation and negotiation skills

Follows instructions, performs duties with minimal supervision and is a team player
